Each year, Inspiring Girls* Expeditions Alaska leads tuition-FREE expeditions for high school youth* that interweave field science, art, and outdoor exploration. Inspired by Girls* on Ice Cascades, the flagship program of the now-global Inspiring Girls* Expeditions, we led our first expedition in 2012 in the beautiful mountains of the eastern Alaska Range.  Since then, we have grown to offer several once-in-a-lifetime expeditions per summer in different awe-inspiring landscapes throughout Alaska. From sketching the patterns of a melting glacier under the midnight sun to exploring the rugged Alaskan coastline by sea kayak, we empower our participants to lead and succeed while building curiosity, creativity, and confidence!

Expedition teams are selected through an application process. Our application opens in mid-January each year.
